IMMEDIATE OPENINGS! 2ND SHIFT CNC MACHINISTS AND WELDERS!

Pro~Cise, Inc., a contract manufacturing and machining company located in Eau Claire, WI, has immediate full or part time openings for CNC Lathe/Vertical Machining Center Operators AND Welders on its second shift.  If you are a self-driven, highly motivated individual looking to join a great team of CNC Machinists or Welders, then look no further!  Build your career at Pro~Cise!

CNC MACHINIST candidates must:

  • Have at least 1 to 3 years of experience in setting up and operating Lathes and/or Vertical Machining Centers with close tolerances
  • Have a 2 year degree in Machine Tooling Technics
  • Have the ability to run more than one machine where cycle time permits
  • Be able to read/interpret blueprints, with an understanding of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T) symbols
  • Have a good understanding of CNC controls and G/M code programming skills (read, write, edit)
  • Be able to measure and inspect to quality requirements
  • Have the ability to work independently or with others to support a strong team environment
  • Have strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Be able to handle other related duties as assigned

WELDER candidates must:

  • Have a minimum of 2-5 years experience with Flux Core/GMAW (Gas Metal Arc Welding/Mig)
  • Be able to read and understand blueprints and have knowledge of GD&T weld symbols
  • Be proficient at fixture design
  • Have the ability to weld low volume/prototype components or sub-assemblies to meet applicable quality standards and drawing requirements
  • Have the ability to pass multiple weld certifications
  • Weld fitment experience to .030 tolerances a plus
  • Heat straightening experience a plus
  • Have the ability to work independently or with others to support a strong team environment
  • Have strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Be able to handle other related duties as assigned
