In this role as MANUFACTURING ENGINEER, YOU will MAKE AN IMPACT by:

  • Preparing and managing the design of engineering masters and work orders.
  • Creating work instructions to meet customer requirements.
  • Planning, developing and purchasing all raw materials and components specific to customer requirements.
  • Visiting and developing relationships with key suppliers for outsourced work and contracted special services.
  • Assisting in management and identification of raw material inventory.
  • Determining customer specifications by studying product design and customer requirements.
  • Managing and tracking customer orders from receipt to shipment.
  • Managing and creating dxf files and manufacturing drawings.

What do we need from you as a MANUFACTURING ENGINEER?

  • Strong communication skills, verbal, written and listening
  • Demonstrated initiative and strong work ethic
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize work and multi-task
  • Strong technical and problem solving skills

What type of Education and/or Experience is needed?

  • College degree in Manufacturing Engineering or pertinent work experience
  • Experience in the manufacturing industry – Machining, Welding, Fabrication
  • SolidWorks, AutoCad, or other CAD knowledge
  • Knowledge of print reading and interpretation, geometric dimensioning and tolerancing
  • Knowledge of materials and material properties

IMMEDIATE OPENING for a highly enthusiastic, detail oriented CUSTOMER SERVICE-EXPEDITOR!

This position reports directly to the Engineering/Sales Manager. In this position, you will have the responsibility of ensuring that all customer requirements are met by providing accurate engineering plans and timely procurement and management of materials.

In this role as CUSTOMER SERVICE-EXPEDITOR, YOU will MAKE AN IMPACT by:

  • Planning, developing and purchasing of all raw materials, components and outside services specific to customer requirements.
  • Building and developing relationships with key suppliers.
  • Entering and acknowledging customer orders.
  • Managing and tracking customer orders from receipt to shipment.
  • Managing and creating of RMA’s.
  • Assisting in the preparation and management of work orders and work instructions.
  • Assisting in sales support including estimating material quotes and outside service quotes.
  • Assisting in variance analysis with regards to estimated hours vs. actual hours.
  • All other duties as assigned.

Knowledge of fabrication, welding and machining.
Knowledge of print reading and interpretation.
Knowledge of materials and material properties.
Strong computer skills.

Ideal candidates for this CNC Machinist position will:

  • Have at least 1 to 3 years of experience setting up and operating Lathes and Mills with close tolerances
  • Have the ability to learn and operate the Horizontal Boring Mill
  • Have a 2 year degree in Machine Tooling Technics
  • Have the ability to run more than one machine where cycle time permits
  • Be able to read/interpret blueprints, with an understanding of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T) symbols
  • Have a good understanding of CNC controls and G/M code programming skills (read, write, edit)
  • Be able to measure and inspect to quality requirements
  • Have the ability to communicate effectively with supervisors and team members
  • Have strong problem solving, organizational, and attention to detail skills
  • Have the ability to work independently or with others to support a strong team environment
  • Be able to handle other related duties as assigned
